Hello, SSUG is organizing a Smalltalk Gathering. We invite all Smalltalkers to join this event to share their enthusiasm and knowledge about Smalltalk. bonjour, je viens de mettre en ligne (http://community.ofset.org/wiki/S%27amuser_avec_le_système_graphique_Morph) une traduction presque définitive du tutoriel de John Maloney,"Fun with the Morphic Graphics System". Merci à Serge Stinckwich d'avoir fourni la traduction effectuée par un de ses étudiants, ce qui m'a permis de ne pas tout reprendre à zéro. J'ai fait une bonne relecture (orthographe, grammaire, typographie), quelques corrections, et j'ai adapté le tutoriel à la version française de Squeak . J'ai aussi modifié légèrement la fin car la façon d'afficher les tiroirs et leur contenu ont été modifiés depuis que le tutoriel a été écrit (le texte original est devenu inexact au moins depuis 3.6). "bank tutorial" dejà traduit?

bonjour, en travaillant sur la traduction du tutoriel Fun with the Morphic Graphics System, par John Maloney ( http://community.ofset.org/wiki/S %27amuser_avec_le_système_graphique_Morph ), je me suis aperçu qu'il était sensé être fait à la suite du "bank tutorial" du même auteur. Quelqu'un sait-il si celui-ci a déjà été traduit? Si ça n'est pas le cas, je le traduirai moi-même, car c'est une très bonne introduction aux concepts de Smalltalk qui utilise l'interface Morphic, et cela fonctionne parfaitement en 3.8. Olivier

Squeak Merchandising ;)

Hi all The squeak foundation is moving... We obtained the right from tim to use the logo to do some merchandising. As we cannot have twice the same item with different logoes I created two shops http://www.cafepress.com/SqFoundation http://www.cafepress.com/SqueakShop We are testing them. So refrain to buy now :) All the benefits will go to the squeakfoundation and everything will be transparent. We should receive some items soon to really test their size. We plan to have Tshirt and Mugs and to use the balloon of bert who gave us also the right to use it. Let us know if you have some preferences for the items. Stef
