Hi,
I have try to update squeak (3.9b) from the squak menu (on the left hand side 'load code update' ) and it toke me more than 3/4 of an hour before I kill squak process. The appplication have eaten more than 800Mo of memory. Those it's normal and should I wait for a longer time?

Depends on what version you start with - but you should be seeing lots of progress bars and messages while it happens. If those are missing or "frozen" then probably something bad happened. FWIW, updates are best performed on images that don't have any new code loaded in them.

in the past we used cs which where really fast but where not packages. For 3.9 we used MC which is too slow. So this is clearly not satisfactory but progress is happening with pain sometimes :)
