hi there
One of my sunit tests generated an endless loop, sadly I didn't save my image before I ran it because I didn't expect such a behaviour. I can't do anything right now. Is there a way to stop the testrunner? I don't want to lose all my changes.
nevermind, found the solution: pressing alt-. breaks out of the loop

Welcome Heph,
Finding alt-. is a life saver. This is basically a way to break in and debug the current process. For those of you that don't understand Alt-. It means hold down the alt key and press the period key.
Happy coding!
Ron

and on a notebook... (on linux)
alt + . . is (Fn + .)
because it only works with the point on the numerical keyboard...
and it doesnt always answer quickly...
alt down then Fn + . several times :)
Great!
Note also that all the changes you do are kept in a changes file (the file with extension .changes) every time you accept a method or evaluate code, etc. So even if you do not save your image, you cannot really lose the things you did (except in some very rare circumstances where you manage to actually break that part of the system and that file would become corrupted). This is similar to the same way that a database keeps a log file of everything that happened.
So even if your image crashes (or you simply forget to save it, or ...), you are able to actually replay some or all of the changes you made previously.
