Hi,
I have found "subclass:..." message under ClassBuilder so I wonder how do we can call it from Object (i.e. when we make a new "object class")because "Object class" inherit from Class who inherit from ClassDescription who .. Behavior who .. Object.
But may be I'm wrong.
Thanks for answering
Best regards, Mathew
Hi matthew if you want to master the unformity of Smalltalk class-object model have a look at this lecture: http://www.iam.unibe.ch/~ducasse/Teaching/CoursAnnecy/0506-M1-COO/ 07Metaclasses.pdf
Normally you should get enlightened :) Else just ask and we will explain it.

Yes, great, unfortunately a make a confusion between superclass:.... and subclass:.... Sorry. So I thought that ClassBuilder should have been in the hierarchy of Object class…
But I saw that ClassBuilder is responsible of compiling and son on.
What a complex Class. :-\
It will take time to fully understand it, no matters, it will be interesting.
Thanks
