Hi, Firefox show's under the condition that I was absent for 1/2 hour the same behavior. After go again with a fresh typed URL back to the start it works fine. hmmm .. very odd .. it's working in Firefox now just fine. Earlier, when I clicked on any chapter past the overview it resolved to "http://localhost:8002/seaside/tutorial". This tutorial was produced by the Software Architecture Group at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute (University of Potsdam). In ten chapters we describe step by step the development of a ToDo-application and thereby demonstrate the main parts of the sophisticated web framework Seaside. Exif support?

I am learning Squeak, and as a first application I want to write a little photo organizing application. I know I will want to extract EXIF information out of the jpeg headers of the images. So far I haven't seen anything in Squeak or the squeak repositories that does this. I'm hoping one of you kind souls can point me in the right direction. Thanks, Monty

Command Shell

Hi, I've loaded CommandShell and OSProcess (along with the Test suites for both). When I start Command Shell the Morphic terminal appears, but I get the message "cannot access system to run 'ps'", when I try to execute a shell command. Have I failed to download a necessary part, or is there a configuration somewhere I need to administer? Chris

Displaying rows of data, PluggableMultiColumnListMorph

Hello, i want to display the results of an ongoing calculation. I'm not terribly concerned about speed, as this is just for educational purposes. So i figured that PluggableMultiColumnListMorph would be a good place to start. My problem now is, that it only wants to take Arrays as its source list. Because i don't know how many rows of data need to be displayed, i just threw all of them in an OrderedCollection. If i convert this OrderedCollection with "asArray" and feed it to the MultiColoumnMorph the contents are displayed just fine, but i can't select any entries or navigate using the arrow keys. In fact, i can only select as much entries as there are columns in the Morph. To illustrate, i did something roughly similiar to the following: |column1 column2| result := OrderedCollection new. column1 := OrderedCollection new. column2 := OrderedCollection new. column1 add: 'x-component'; add: 'purz'; add: 'durst'; add: 'puh'. column2 add: 'y-component'; add: 'purz1'; add: 'durst1'; add: 'puh1'. result add: (column1 asArray); add: (column2 asArray). result := result asArray. And it seems like PluggableMultiColumnListMorph doesn't treat "result" as a proper array. Is there a possible workaround or do i absolutely have to work with simple arrays? Using Local Date Settings

I am looking for information on how to get squeak to use the locale settings for dates. I have found the Locale classes, but I can't make sense of how to use it to set squeak wide settings either based on the OS or some parameter I can pass in. As an example, if I use '05/10/2007' asDate, I get a Date object of '10 May 2007' rather than '5 October 2007'. I could code it myself, but surely someone has done this already. I appreciate any help or documentation.
