Where can I download the Connectors package. I've been here: http://www.squeaksource.com/Connectors/ but am not sure what I should download and fileIn. I'm working on Squeak version 4.2. Michael

Do Mac ttf parser is different with Windows?

I just tried to import the TTF file into Squeak 4.1, in windows, it succeed, but in Mac, it failed, with cmap nil error I use the command: TTCFontSet newTextStyleFromTTFile: fontFile. Do any one have experience on this part? Debugging - any hints, tutorials ?

Hi, I'm having issues using the debugger when I am trying to debug errors when I am using a third party API's. Typically, it's because I'm making errors when trying to use a third party component. Another strange bug with Morphic

Here is my game: http://paste.lisp.org/display/120653 . It is opened with FiveInARowGame new openInWorld. When you open the Preferences window, there are two ColorPickerMorph:s embedded in the window. They are added to AlignmentMorph rows internally. I use them to pick the colors of the noughts and crosses. But when you click on any of the two ColorPickerMorph:s, the first time you click, they jump to the front of the AlignmentMorph row (which isn't supposed to happen), and they always pick one certain color regardless of where you click. The next time you click on one of the ColorPickerMorph:s, it works as expected, but it still stays in the front of the AlignmentMorph row. So why do they jump to the front of the AlignmentMorph row? I have pasted the whole game above, but the relevant method should be FiveInARowGamePreferencesWindow>>openOnGame: . Thankful for help Regards Martin Nilsson

Strange bug with Morphic

Hello! I'm writing a small game. The fileOut code for the game is pasted at http://paste.lisp.org/display/120545 . I got a rather strange bug going on, which I will describe here, in the hope that somebody has the time to help me. The bug is like this: If you open the game (with FiveInARowGame new openInWorld) and if you also have a Transcript window open, then the game works correctly. (Try clicking somewhere in the game board, and the AI will respond after 0.5 seconds, and the tag 'Crosses'' turn.' will change to 'Nought''s turn.' and back again.) But if you close the Transcript window, or if you remove a certain "Transcript show: '' . " statement in the FiveInARowGame>>performAI method, then mouse response will become less responsive in the game, and the 'Crosses'' turn.' tag will not update as it should any longer. Now, my question is: what magic does this call to Transcript do which causes my game to update correctly, and what message should I send instead to get the same effect, even without a Transcript window open ? Is GStreamer live? (in connection to Squeak)

Good time of day. I wonder if there is anyone who use GStreamer-related plugin/packages. Packages are marked as last updated near Nov 2008, they do contain errors as I can judge, and absolute lack of documentation. Then, after I'd loaded GStreamer into precompiled All-in-One-4.2, code GStreamer default. immediately raised plugin initialization error - primgstinitcheck - primitiveFailed (on Debian GNU/Linux amd64). In locally compiled Squeak, GStreamer connections do work, I succeeded (after fixation of a couple of obvious errors) in constructing easy audio chain and playing OGG/Vorbis from file to ALSA. Is GStreamer plugin/classes supported these days, is there anybody interested in?.. :-) :-(
