How to file in a package?

Hi, how does one file in a package into Squeak 3.10? I was able to locate the fileOut by right-clicking on the package list but I don't see the fileIn. -Conrad

Omnibrowser?

So...where is Omnibrowser? I have vanilla Squeak 3.9 and a bunch of Squeak-devs that say it's installed. How do I open one? It's not the default, is it? And how do I make traits visible? Thanks!

PluggableTextMorph and rubberband

Hi all, Recently I installed Gary Chamber's UIEnhancements. Pretty neat. After that, there's a rubberband in PluggableTextMorphs when they get focused. Do you know how I can turn this off? Thanks, Has.

Traits

Thanks Matthew, that's interesting. I have never heard of traits. So 'uses:' is a way of incorporating behaviour/values which don't naturally inherit? cheers AB This is not a class; it is a trait. Traits are separate from classes. Object is not special; neither is it's superclass ProtoObject. ProtoObject, the root object is just a subclass of nil. > 2. What does uses: mean? I haven't seen this in a class definition > before. uses: can be added to any class or trait definition to signify that this class/trait incorporates some traits into it's behavior definition. The only senders I know of in a stock image are ClassDescription and TraitDescription; traits are not used much yet

Stopping a debug-window loop

OK, I've got a debug window popping up over and over again. I can Alt+. but that pops up a user interrupt window which is immediately plastered over by another of the same debug window. I tried Ctrl+C as well, based on advice from Stepehn Ducasse's book. Nothing there. In the past I've just closed the Squeak window, but it's really tiresome having to redo all the work since the last save. (It only matters a little how much work. It's tiresome on principle.) Can anything be done to stop this? ===Blake===

Understanding TEasilyThemed

I have now successfully got the new UI themes working - thanks to everyone for their advice. Looking through the code I see quite a few classes which are defined like this: TEasilyThemed classTrait uses: {} This raises a few questions for me 1. As there is no subclass message it seems to imply that TEasilyThemed is at the same level as Object. Is that right? because I thought that all objects were actually subclasses of Object 2. What does uses: mean? I haven't seen this in a class definition before. Thanks AB
