I uninstalled Squeak as per your instruction, reboot my iMac and then install macOS version and then launched the image. However, I got the same error message (see attached file). It seems as though it got package with READ-ONLY for the ".changes" file which is obviously incorrect. I had the same problem with the ALL-IN-ONE package too. I will have to admit it is rather frustrating. Again, any and all help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,René ======================= Hi René

I downloaded the Mac OS version of Squeak and when I started the image I got the message that "/private/.../.change" file was set to read only.
Since the .changes file needs to be read/write allowed but I'm not able to change it even though I'm the Administrator.
Any hints on how I can correct this problem.
I am running on macOS Big Sur Version 11.6, iMac (24-inch, M1, 2021)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This is most probably macOS's App-translocation. Please (1) remove the .app, (2) unpack the zip again, (3) IMPORTANT move the app away, eg, Desktop, Applications folder, anywhere, but move it. (4) Then start the app.
Best regards -Tobias
