Hi guys,
I am trying to port my app from Seaside 3.0.9 to Seaside 3.1.3. I am in
Pharo 2.0 at the moment. All code loads clean. However, I cannot get pass
my login window. The root task (WATask implementing #go) of my app does a
call: to "welcome and login" component. This component has a username and
password input and a simple login button.
The problem is that no matter what I do, the callback of the submit button
is never called. When I click in Submit button, I do see the URL bar in the
browser to get a new _k.... but it refreshes me again to the login page.
In fact...I put a halt AFTER the #call: to my welcome/login page in the #go
of the root task...and nothing...it does not even halt there...
So something strange is going on and I have no clue where to take a look.
Any idea?
Thanks,

Hi,
I built a minimal test case for meaning full urls in seaside. It covers:
a) initial redirect for "wrong" urls - done (thanks to Philippe
and Johan)
b) links have a meaningful url - half-done (see below)
c) page url has a meaningful url - half-done (see below)
b) and c) I get only the one or the other to work - not both the same
time. The test class is named Testurl and I attached its fileout.
b) is done inside the #renderContext: method via the #extraPath: of
WAUrl
c) is done via the #updateUrl: method
But if both is activated then the urls of the links are AAA/AAA
or BBB/AAA instead of just AAA.
Has anyone a hint for me?
Thanks
P.
Hi,
I an new to seaside and playing with it. When a session is started I
want to make a url check and if it fits some conditions to do an url
rewrite (http 304).
I think I found the place where to make this check: initialRequest:
But I can't find how to send a url rewrite back (I don't want to use an
external http-server for that rewrite).
Any help will be appreciated :)

I just uploaded to SmalltalkHub an initial wrapper for the Rickshaw.js
charting library (http://code.shutterstock.com/rickshaw/).
As usual, you can load it with the following expression:
Gofer it
smalltalkhubUser: 'emaringolo' project: 'rickshaw';
package: 'ConfigurationOfRickshaw';
load.
(Smalltalk at: #ConfigurationOfRickshaw) project development load: 'All'
This will load all the packages, including a Seaside component
installed at '/rickshaw' containing various examples.
It is an initial version and my first package uploaded to
SmalltalkHub, so bugs and and mistakes are expected :)
Questions are welcome too.
