isolate

Hi, Given it looks like the isolate method is never going to added back to the current or future versions of Seaside as it's been an open bug issue for the last 5 years, how in general would go about replicating it's behaviour ? I think it's a shame as I think this sort of functionality made Seaside standout from the crowd as a web framework. Thanks

Cannot change background color

I have the following style sheet defined and called by my Seaside program. All of the entries for h2 and table take effect but I can't change the background color or the text color of the main page. Https request to Random.org

Hi everyone. I need to get some random numbers and the best way seems to be Random.org. Now, if they accepted http, I would be OK but their api only accepts https. This is the url https://www.random.org/integers/?num=55&min=1&max=55&col=55&base=10&format=… This api will give me my 55 random numbers but I can only seem to generate http requests. Is there a way to do an https get using Seaside? I am on VA Smalltalk V 9.1. Message sent using Winmail Mail Server

Bookmarkable URLs

I am getting ready to start working in earnest on a blog for my radio show in Seaside. I have a few things I want to make sure I have worked out. What is the current state of bookmarkable URLs? How are people currently implementing them? While digging around on this, it seems hard to find current information on this. I want to be able to allow users to bookmark/share URLs and navigate to those URLs from shared links and google searches. If this isn't worked out anywhere online, I would be happy to take any help from the list and make a proper blog posting about it. Creating an admin section

Part of my website will involve a straightforward admin section. By simple, I mean: I will be the only one using it, and I don't need a full authentication/authorization system. My initial thought is to make a separate web application in the same image. The admin applcation would extend WAComponent but would be completely different from the public facing site. This site would be hidden behind Seaside's simple authentication, and I would call it a working application. Does anyone see any issues in this implementation? Seaside combo box

Hi there. I have a list of items which are the existing options and I want to provide the facility to add a new option. I know this as a combo box. Can this be done in Seaside?
