I would hope so seeing as that's where majority of development is happening right now and cincom focus will first be on better integration and only then on seaside itself if I understand correctly. Seaside sessions and ajax

Hello there, i having few questions about how seaside handling ajax update requests. I found that it handles differently, not like a regular page navigation. For instance - continuation is not changing. And i have a problem with sessions: when session expires, by default we redirect page to show login page. But with ajax its just returns an empty result, rendering updated page parts empty. How i can handle session expiration with ajax correctly? Also, i would like to make continuations updating for ajax, so any user action regardless ajaxed or not with have new continuation id. How this can be done? Regard, Igor

The protocol is likely to be on a filename class not bytearray, but I don't squeak, so... i10n or speed?

Hi Have you ever tried a counter in a recent version of Seaside? I don't know about you but for such a simple application it is way too slow for my taste. As part of the 2.8 cycle we look into ways of making Seaside faster. Attached you will find several traces for the counter application. As you can see, an awful lot of time is spent to convert URLs to String. Of that most time is spent in#encodeForHTTP. So what do you find more important, that Seaside is fast or that is supports non-ascii urls? Cheers Philippe

ShoreComponents and resources

Hi Pavel, I did not understood the intention in ShoreComponent file libraries at #selectorsToInclude. I saw there is a kind of optimization there. Are you planning to use shore components libraries in production from the image? Rigth now that optimization makes ShoreComponents libraries incompatible with Jetsam and the "write to disk" feature added to Seaside for libraries. As apache is no match for comanche for serving files, I'm sending a package version that has stripped the optimizations meant to be deployed as files (writed to disk) and copied to the site document root. Center Site without Table

Hi, I'm trying to center all the pages of my site, I've had no luck with the style sheets and the only way I've been able to achieve it is to place the holding div block inside a table as per the following: html table align: 'center'; with: [ html tableRow: [ html tableData: [ html div id: 'holding'; with: [ ]]]] I'm guessing that this can't be best practise and I was wondering if anyone could set me straight.
