I know some have discussed using Jabber with a Seaside app ( http://www.nabble.com/Jabber-client-in-Smalltalk-td17816652.html). And I know Julian Fitzell & Michael Rueger have worked to put together a Jabber client & server (circa 2005).
1) Has there been any progress with this? 2) Has anyone downloaded: http://www.squeaksource.com/@0QZ6-IAhlonOxL9E/T6O1amoq and produced a simple, working client-server example? ---John
Hi John,
I should have mentioned in your other thread that this mailing list announcement was as close as I ever got to documenting the code I was working on: http://lists.squeakfoundation.org/pipermail/squeak-dev/2005-August/094141.ht.... I really do apologize for leaving it in such a state but it just fell of the list of things I had time to work on.
I think I will add the contents of that message to the SqueakSource project page.
Julian
