I haven't seen any posts on this list since 7/11. Is it broken?

Don't think so.... Smalltalk Solutions is this month so maybe everyone's over there.

I'm not and I actually did a tiny bit of work.
At the moment, I'm setting up two new websites and I want to do them wiki-style in Seaside (the first cuts are currently in Swiki).
So I've taken up hacking the Wiki example to something more usable. The current version on SM holds page history (but doesn't do much else with it) and stores pages in SmartRef format on disk.
I hope to complete the other two bits I want to have done in any case before moving over the website this weekend; from there, I'll maintain it and enhance as needed.
I like the 'favorite author name' scheme, so I called the project after Martin Gardner, the American popular science writer and nonsense debunker.

Cees

Excellent. Are you cleaning up the renderer at all? I just copied a quick hack of Goran's, it would be nice to get a proper parser in there (perhaps the one from SmallWiki...).

I look forward to seeing what "Gould", "Pinker", and "Hofstatder" are... ;)

The parser needs to be able to do two things, not just render HTML: - Prior to a save, parse the contents and call out for every in-Swiki link so that the link network can be updated; contents must be replaced by page numbers instead of page titles; - When rendering, parse the contents and replace page numbers in links by page titles.
If you have (know of) an existing parser that can handle both (or can easily be extended tohandle both), I'll gladly drop it in. Keeping incoming and outgoing links is the only big to-do at the moment (smaller ones: recent changes, display history, display history with diffs, file attachments, usernames, ...)

In the meantime I hooked up the SmallWiki parser and have the basic functionality for a Wiki working. Next on the list is recent changes, history, and some basic security features.
http://tai42.xs4all.nl/~cg/sm has packages that are meant to appear on SqueakMap (whether I get around updating SM is another thing ;-)), http://tai42.xs4all.nl/~cg/mc contains Monticello versions.
