defaultAction not working?

Hi, I'm using Seaside 2.8 and Scriptaculous latests packages (tbn.539 and lr.238 respectively) on a Squeak-dev from dammien cassou, based on 3.10 version. Some component does this: html form defaultAction: [ self notifyChanges ] ; with: [ html select labels: [ : each | each name ] ; list: aPlayer allStars ; beSubmitOnChange ; on: #currentStar of: self ] When I run the code, everything works: list is render and form is triggered when I change some selection, but defaultAction is never called (tested on Safari and Firefox browsers). I'm missing something? Thanks, Esteban

Call Popup window and management session data

Hi All, i work with seaside 2.6 and scriptaculos in VisualWorks 7.4.1. Now i have my application with master web page for update data. For create print document about the data i open popup window from master with command: A) html script: 'window.open('ISTGstStampe' , 'Stampe' ) or: B) html anchorWithPopupUrl : 'ISTGstStampe' name: 'Stampe' extent: 400@400 togllgles: #(resizable') do: 'Lancio stampa'. where ISTGstStampe is a seaside application with the task to create print preview about data. Now i'm interest to pass argument ( for example : anCollection about data to print ) to ISTGstStampe for management specif data to print. But when open popup window it has specific session, and i lose the data in the master window session. My question are: how i can pass reference from master web to slave page ? if i open popup window with method A) i can us javascript : 'referenceWindow.document.write (' .... with data from specific instance of ISTGstStampe renderContentOn: . Any pointers would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Dario

JavaScript input mask/validator

Hi, I'm looking for a good, clean as possible, javascript implementation for form input masked input and/or validation. I can search for it on the web, but there are tons of implementations, mostly for aspx and other very heavyweight. ¿Does anybody recommend one that fits the "Seaside-way"? Best regards, -- Esteban A. Any efforts on jQuery also Flot

Hi there, searching for charting options I've found Flot starts to be very atractive. It has jQuery as requisite so I've started to look if one can use Prototype/Scriptaculous *and* jQuery. So I end reading this: http://jquery.com/blog/2006/08/20/why-jquerys-philosophy-is-better/ I like Prototype a lot but regarding to that doc and the API it seems to me jQuery is going to be a lot smalltalkish. So I wonder, is anybody here investing some effort on jQuery? Even if not, is anybody willing to cooperate in some squeaksource pac the mapping of jQuery using the Seaside Scriptaculous mechanism? And returning to the charting subject, there is any effort on Flot? Any willing to wrap it? thanks, Sebastian Sastre PD: there is no concern about compatibility issues, they have made utils so jQuery can work without conflict with Prototype in the same page at the same time.
