Manage queue for share printer device

Ciao, i have some Seaside session that share a printer device with a specific IP address. Now my question is how i can manage a queue of the printer to manage conflict from some seaside session. It's enough intercept a NetworkError when i open a TCP-IP connection ? If the device is busy from one seaside session, i intercept the error and resend the request. But this mode: on the one hand ensures the print but other risk lock the system until the printing is done. Any idea about this problematic ? My application in the deployment environment run on GLASS. Thanks, for any consideration. Dario

Pharo 2.0 scriptaculous does not work

I am a little bit confused and need your help. Yesterday I moved from Pharo 1.4 to Pharo 2.0. (In Pharo 1.4. I used the one-click-package). After moving to 2.0, first it seemed that all worked but now I have the following problem: Buttons like this: html button onClick: (html prototype evaluator callback: [ :script | self halt. 2 inspect ]; return: false); with: '??' Dont work (also some other things but I assume that all has the same reason). Click it - nothing happens. After some investigation I found out that the scriptaculous example http://localhost:8083/javascript/scriptaculous does not work either. Instead of counting it re-renders the page itself again within the example. I took the fresh 2.0. installation (windows) and loaded Seaside and JQueryWidgetBox. <script src="/files/PTDevelopmentLibrary/prototype.js" type="text/javascript"> <script src="/files/SUDevelopmentLibrary/scriptaculous.js" type="text/javascript"> Is in my html code. Possibly there is somtehing more to load now? Possibly scriptaculous is not the reason? Took me several hours now, help would be fine. Form, serialize:, answer: and callback:

Hi, I've a form I have to submit via ajax. The form is in a component called via call:, when the form is submitted I want to return to the previous component. Here's my code Form is submitted, but answer: does not return to the previous component even if it is executed (I know because I put a halt in the callback block). Can anyone explain why and how to solve it? Css file from lighttpd server

Ciao, i have a problem with a CSS file managed from Lighttpd server. A) first setup The stylesheet styleCupCss when load from WAFileLibrary subclass with the code: updateRoot: anHtmlRoot super updateRoot: anHtmlRoot. anHtmlRoot stylesheet url: JQCupertinoTheme / #styleCupCss. is right interpreted by the browser as a css file. The browser for this element report: DateTue, 11 Jun 2013 15:56:47 GMT Content-Length 33527 Server Zinc HTTP Components 1.0 Content-Type text/css Cache-Control max-age=1800 Expires Tue, 11 Jun 2013 16:26:47 GMT B) setup with error After i create a syleCup.Css file on the server and load it with: anHtmlRoot stylesheet url: 'http://Server/Jquery-ui-1.10.3.custom/css/cupertino/styleCup.Css'. I am sure that experts would know wby the browser's format does not work

in Seaside 3.0.8 on squeak 4.4. The previous version I used on Seaside 3.0.6 on 4.3 had a browser that would properly format code text. Ofter I copy code from some tutorial, and the code shows up with extra lines interspersed. A simple use of the format code feature fixes the code appropriately. In the new version of the browser, the format options does nothing. Just blinks the screen. THanks

My objective when a user click on this anchor is: A) update a index with the self incrementaIndex: true. B1) update the div #base with: self renderingBaseOn: h B2) update the div #orarioRiferimento with: self renderOrarioRiferimentoOn: h Where the B1 - B2 rendering is based on the index state. Now i have a strange behavior because sometime the B2 div #orarioRiferimento renderings is not aligned to the index. As if the onClick script action is not execute in the definition sequence. Any suggestions ? What is the right definition to solve this problematic type ? Thanks, Dario

Jquery submit loads page

Maybe I'm just too tired to get it straight. I have html form with: [ html submitButton onClick: (html jQuery ajax serializeForm ); with: 'foo' ] and if I click the button I get the ajax request and afterwards the page is loaded. What could I've forgotten? thanks, Norbert
