Page 3 keeps Randy's project pi (so it can be incorporated). I like Randy's approach as a first step for kids. Using this, especially in a class where they will all get slightly different perimeters for a four sided polygon, is a good way to start.

Still to do (previous entry clipped): 1) add label showing length of triangle segment to facilitate calculating perimeter 2) add label showing area 3) add Richo's graph tool to let the kids plot ratio of perimeter to diameter vs # of side, so they can see it converge

In the spirit of the group challenge I do not mind if anyone would like to take on any of the above items, help is always appreciated ;)

If you could add a second tab in Spanish, it would be appreciated by many Etoys enthusiasts.

If the accents give you any trouble, you may replace the same letters without accents for the accented ones.

It will not look perfect but it will be readable without any problems.

When you read my comments to your project, my English might sound a bit more weird than usual.

The reason is I wrote the comments in Spanish, if you select English in the Squeakland website, you will be looking at the automatic translation.

I downloaded and played with it for a few moments.

I like your comments on how you propose to use it together with Randy´s.

I will probably get back to you to ask questions about this message.

It has lots of interesting content I cannot absorb fast enough.
