Greetings, Squeaklanders -
Just a note to let you know that we've made some fixes to Squeak so please visit Squeakland.org and "Get Squeak Updates!" which you will find under the central "Download Squeak" oval in the center of the homepage.
In these updates you will find :
-- that we have fixed the "tile size/font" problem when loading an older etoy project into the new version
-- that the "scritch sound" when an object hits the edge of the window is gone. Now, "silence" will give us all some peace of mind
-- you'll find a little "planet" icon on the orange navigator bar which allows you to choose what language you'd like to view your tiles (the current choices are English, Spanish and German).
An installation package for anyone running Mac OS 9 is also now available as well.
Please report any problems (and successes!!!) you may have. cheers to all, Kim
