The only one I would suggest we add is the http://www.etoysillinois.org/sl/MenuMakeNewFlap1.011.pr to the basic set of Quick guides. It seems to me (based on personal experience and working with kids) it is really hard to discover how to do this. Also Based on Bert's comments in SQ-529 http://tracker.squeakland.org/browse/SQ-529 he seems to agree.
There seems to be no easily discoverable way to create a flap. There is a
menu item for creating flaps in the "source" menu which pops up when you press the special "view source" key on the OLPC XO laptop. On other machines this is mapped to Cmd-Comma. I think we might want to add the "flaps..." entry from that menu to the World's halo menu (or maybe just the "make a new flap" entry? See SQ-530 http://tracker.squeakland.org/browse/SQ-530). And we should put a plain flap into the object catalog, maybe on drag-out it would perform the same series of questions as when clicking the menu item.
I agree Kathleen's quick guides are great, I had kids show me things I did not know about and when asked they said they found them in the quick guides.
FYI, I could not find http://www.etoysillinois.org/sl/EtoysInfoEtoysCalculator.001.pr got a "Object not found - 404 Error"

Attention Education Committee!
Kathleen Harness has made some new QuickGuides for Etoys. I have
divided these into two groups. Some of them, the "Basic Group," should probably go into the default set of QuickGuides. Others of them are about advanced features and are in the "Advanced Group". I am recommending that the advanced ones NOT be included in the default QuickGuides.
Could the Education committee please approve the new Basic
QuickGuides to go into the release? The Advanced Guides will be available at etoysillinois.org or perhaps as a zip file.
It was my intension to produce a web page with images of all of the
Basic guides, and another page with the Advanced guides. If you want to wait until tomorrow, you can decide this after looking at those pages.
You can download them and drop them into your QuickGuides folder
